“The sun rises after the storm, everything gets more clear, the minds relaxes and the work continues…”

OZeros was born from the ashes, like the Phoenix that recover the energy and strenght to continue his dream, with love and passion for the things that he does. OZeros it’s the reinvention of a teamwork with more than 30 years of experience, and thanks to the friendship an enthuiasm that we develop is what it is today one of the three best tech websites in computer hardware, and the first as leaders of Overclock in the country. Not only four people follow this dream, as a matter of fact, an importan group of enthusiasts gave 100% to support to this new proyect. We all, step by step, character by character, word after word and entry by entry, were building the foundations of what OZeros it is today .

Thanks to the non-stop work of all the staff that is behind this lines, today, the website has suffered a variety of changes, and thank to the God, “DioZero”, always has been for the best, and all of that can be reflected by the amount of publications and analysis to the release dates of products that you were able to see.

Ozeros  it’s nothing without the support of our virtual audience, that we receive through the comments in the website, blog, social networks an beyond, were by chances of life we have stumble with one or more of you. To give a salute, a simple smile and a few words of support, are the Price that fulfills our spirits, thats it’s what we love, and that it’s whats keep us moving forward.

The evolution of the team:

We got a lot of changes inside the team, new people coming in and others that left, but the core of the team members, and mainly friends, kept going focusing with a central idea in mind, the same idea that got us together in the first place and what it’s now the foundation that keeps us working day after day.

Overclock & LN2

One of the important changes and evolutions inside oZeros was the arrive of the Extreme Refrigeration to our overclock sessions. This happen with the acquisition of a Dragon F1 pot manufactured by Kingpin, this excelent pot and the addition of Dry Ice and Liquid Nitrogen produce a exponentional rise of the quality of our overclock and make us be in between the best 70 overclock teams of the world (revision 3 of HWBot, 2010).

When we first start with Dry Ice, in Chile, there was a separation of the other overclock teams of the country. When we were able to get better frequencies and better overclock conditions the results came to notice inside the scene and every time we got closer to the international level. After that, with the arrive of Liquid Nitrogen to our sessions, this difference became bigger, and being able to achieve frequencies that nobody have seen in the country.

The details of all that goals and achievements that we got inside the oZeros Team up next:

Year 2010

That year was featured by an active participation of the Dry Ice in our overclock sessions, and also a few overclock tournaments where our members achieve some important places.

March

Member “Pipejarcore” got a Second Place in the Gigabyte-AMD Latinamerican Overclock Tournament, that was organized by “overclockear.comLink to the source.

May

Again, our member Pipejarcore achive 3 new nationals records for the LGA 1156 platform:

Maximum Frequency: 4810 MHz

– SuperPi 1M: 8,516 seconds

– SuperPi 2M: 19,532 seconds

June

Our Overclocker “Clockero” gain a Word record by overclocking an Intel Core i5-655K with Dry Ice: 6.049 MHz where achieved and also establish a new hit in the country by being the first to overcome the 6 GHz barrier in Chile.

August

The couple between Pipejarcore and Clockero were able to establish a new record of frecuency by Air cooling with and Intel Core i5-750: 5.027MHz where achieved, and was the best frecuency achieved with that CPU using only Air Cooling.

September

Pipejarcore achieve the Second Place in the latinamerican overclock tournament in LGA 1156 platforms organized by Overclockear.com. Link to the sourceTournament Winners.

October.

1.-  Using an Intel Core i5-750 with a frecuency of 4.859 MHz, member Pipejarcore again was able to get over his previous record  using Air Cooling and establish a new world record to score 8.453 Seconds in the SuperPi 1M Benchmark.

2.- Pipejarcore and Clockero achieve the First and Second Place, respectively, in the GTX 460 Overclock Tournament organized by MadboxPC-nVidia. Link to the source.

November.

Triple record of overclock achieved by our member Clockero. He, with a few Thermalright heatsinks, was able to do 3 important records.

– Frecuency record by using an Intel Core i7-875K CPU and air cooling, qualifying with 4762 MHz

– Frecuency Record by using and Intel Core i5-655K CPU and air cooling, reaching the insane frecuency of 5481 MHz!

– World Record in SuperPi 1M benchmark with the Core i5-655K processor, achieving 8.046 Secunds with a frecuency of 5223 Mhz! Link to the video.

All this can be read directly in the main page of Thermalright.com.

Year 2011

The 9 of April oZeros was born. With the birth of the new website we had to dedicate almost all our time to generate new content and news every day. Never the less, with effort and teamwork we didin’t stop for the unstoppable search of new results of overclock.

That year we made a few records with Nitrogen, but mainly the work was focused to overcome  our own numbers to gain the first place in all the existing benchmarks in the league.

Year 2012

This year we keep updating our results in the main rankings of HWBot, never the less, the arrive of new brands have driven the participation in the extreme overclock and of the recently launched products. To the margin of that, some of our team mates have been keeping the atention with important overclock results.

May

Our South División, located in Concepción, integrated by Pipjejarcore and Pelaofigueroa, arranged to overclock and AMD platform composed by an AMD 1055T Thuban Processor and Dri Ice. The result, national records in Super Pi 32M with 13 minutes and 49.453 seconds, and also 13.058 seconds for SuperPi 1M. Link to the source.

Important milestones related to the site content.

Something that distinguish in us it is the persistence and responsability when we have the opportunity to get early samples of products or NDAs (Non disclousure agreements). Our main goal is to publish at the same time that the release date was set and maybe set the bar high and become a point of reference to the rest of the world. That way, with a lot of work and planification, we became the trending media in the following releases.

May 22, 2011: First in the world to release the  Intel Pentium G620 Processor Review officialy. (After tha Impai leaked theirs results before the end of the NDA).

September 06, 2011: First in the world to release a dual review of the Intel Celeron G530 y Celeron G540 Processors.

October 12, 2011: First in the world to release the review of the AMD FX-8150 (The review was published 1 hour earlier due to Time Zone differences)

May 04, 2012: First Spanish speaking website to release the Intel Core i5-3550 processor review.

May 10, 2012: First website in the world to release the oficial review of the NVIDIA GTX 670 Graphics Card. (Tweaktown release a not oficial “preview” first)

Closing Words.

The goal of this approach it to let everybody know that we are a dedicated and responsible, open to the people and new enthusiast users, willing to receive and share the  knowledge, trying to maintain always a good reputation and prestige, and that all that let us become in atractive partners to the companies.

Here in oZeros has been proposed to give the overclock a character and a new aproach never seen before, starting with the brotherhood, friendship and trust as a foundation of our work, where we got the support of the tools and experience that we have acquired both in our own work as in our studies and also in the gatherings as the “oZeros Overclock Team”

Overall, every one of this faces generate, finally, a first class teamwork ready to satisfy the needs of this times, to be able to maintain a news and a informative website day after day and also release first class product reviews right on time, and that all can be supplemented with the exclusivity that make us handle extreme platforms to overclock.
